In fact, Yahweh declared in Jeremiah 3:11: Despite that example of what happens when a nation rejects God, the Southern Kingdom of Judah followed in her sister’s footsteps. ![]() Some years before, God allowed Assyria to overrun and destroy Israel, the Northern Kingdom of this divided land. The Lord caused Jeremiah to bring a hard Word to His people. ![]()
